School Crest & Flag
The torch, with its glowing red flame, symbolizes the light of integrity and the warmth of compassion. It inspires every student to bear the truth, stand up for righteousness and at the same time, have a heart for others, and serve those in need.
The combination of the twirling background design together with the torch is a stylized depiction of the letters, "ai', the abbreviated form of the school’s name, Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School.
Green represents our shared value of harmony in a multi-racial, multi-religious school and the colour silver, our perseverance in the pursuit of excellence.
Student Body Name
“AIzens” (pronounced ay-eye-zens) suggests a strong sense of belonging as members of the AISS community, while subtly evoking calmness and thoughtfulness. It reflects students who are grounded, self-aware, and respectful of others. The name highlights the importance of community, where individuals contribute to a supportive and balanced environment. Being an AIzen is about growing with both purpose and mindfulness.
Mascot
“Ignis,” (pronounced eeg-nees) meaning fire, reflects the flame at the heart of the mascot’s identity. It symbolises passion, courage, and the drive to inspire positive change within the school community. The name carries a sense of strength and intensity, representing students who act with purpose. It positions the mascot as a powerful embodiment of the school’s spirit.
