Our Belief
The Ahmad Ibrahim Concert Band was established in 1970, beginning as a military band before evolving into a concert band in 2011. Guided by a shared passion for music and strong camaraderie, we believe in music as a universal language that connects people and expresses emotions beyond words.
We nurture students’ musical excellence while instilling values such as discipline, teamwork, resilience, and leadership. Through meaningful experiences, students develop confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Our Adventures
At AISS Concert Band, students embark on a fulfilling musical journey with instruments assigned based on their physique and personality. Beyond learning instrumental skills, students benefit from a holistic programme that supports both musical and personal growth.
Members participate in school performances, band exchanges, and external events such as Schools in Concert and Istana Open House. The band has also achieved strong results, including Gold with Distinction at the Asia Pacific Band Festival 2026, Distinction at SYF Arts Presentation (2025, 2023), and a Silver Award at the Singapore International Band Festival 2024.
