Teaching & Learning in AISS
We envision our students to be Learners with Character. They are self-directed and collaborate well with others to learn in this complex and fast-changing world. They pursue excellence in all they do as they ACE in their learning by being Adaptable, Courageous and Empathetic learners.
Human-Centred Design (HCD)
We use HCD as a thinking approach that guides students to place real people at the centre of problem-solving, strongly aligning with our school values. In the world where Artificial Intelligence thrives, we find it vital to anchor our students in humanistic thinking - putting human needs and abilities in the centre, as they begin ideating and creating novel solutions to complex issues of today. Students are brought through the stages of HCD through the Total Curriculum.
