Girls Guide
Discover how Girl Guides builds confident leaders through life skills, community service, and outdoor adventures.

Our Belief
We believe that all girls are valued and can take action to positively change the world.
Our Girl Guides CCA is built on values of empowerment, inclusivity, courage, responsibility and service. We guide girls to develop their fullest potential as confident leaders and responsible citizens of the world. These beliefs are expressed globally through the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) and locally by Girl Guides Singapore.
The motto of Girl Guides is ‘Be Prepared’. As girls between 12 and 17 years of age are becoming increasingly independent, Girl Guide activities are designed to prepare them to handle new situations, unexpected situations and challenges with a sense of confidence and self-assuredness.
The Guiding programme teaches girls vital life skills such as personal goal-setting, decision-making and team-building in a safe and supportive environment. Girl Guides build and strengthen their leadership skills by taking the lead in Unit and Patrol activities, learning to organise school and HQ events, teaching each other and younger girls new skills.
Our Adventures
At the Sree Narayana Mission Home (SNMH) in Yishun, the elderly residents lit up with smiles as they joined in games like colouring and word guessing, thoughtfully organised by the Guides. These Values-in-Action activities nurture in every Girl Guide a spirit of community care and instill a strong sense of responsibility.
Good service stems from a positive attitude and the Girl Guides exemplify this through their readiness to assist the school with pride and enthusiasm. Whether at the Achievement Day lunch or the yeomen service during World Thinking Day, they take joy in serving people. Their graciousness and commendable level of service reflect the values of the CCA and stand as a source of pride for the school community.
